This is a good example of a test game. And by that I mean that you should've put this in your Dumping Grounds instead of submitting it to the Portal. There's nothing to this except for popping bubbles over and over.

I'm sorry, but I can't give this a good score. In the future, submit anything that is a test or test like to your Dumping Grounds.

Dumping grounds? whats that?

It wouldn't be so bad if the pillars didn't go down after 1.5 seconds of being on them. It gives the player barely any time to think about their next move. If you play it over and over you get used to how the game works. Therefore, it does take some skill, but it also relies on luck.

I keep coming back to this game because of the medals. My best score so far is 18. Because it has replayability to it, I'm not going to give you a bad score. Just know that there's a difference between challenging and making a game extremely frustrating just because you can. Your game is the latter in that statement.

naw son u just gotta git gud!

This was an okay game at first, but it became super boring and tedious. The line drawing mechanic to match tiles diagonally doesn't work very well at all. Also, I don't understand why there wasn't any sort of penalty if you let the blocks go past the top of the grid. It just makes the top block disappear while a new one spawns it at the bottom. It makes it so there's absolutely no challenge to this game. There are no penalties, no lives, no timer, nothing. At least I could take a break mid-game while trying to get my score up to 3,000.

This game of yours just feels like it was put together quickly and lazily. The player can take as long as they want to get their score up to 3,000 if they want to get all of the medals. There's no challenge. Definitely wasn't a fan of this one.

Artur-Felipe responds:

Thanks for your comment, the central idea of the game is you play a little and rest. so it saves your record automatically because the score is too large.

I was so excited when I saw this! I absolutely love the Hell Runner series. I think this one was my favorite so far. It was a ton of fun to play! I loved all of the returning characters, too.

Can't wait for the next part! It should be really interesting!

Big-Boss you're always one of the first to review my games! Thank you!

Pretty easy just like the first one. I liked the new rainbow hat power-up that gave you all power-ups at once. Not much of an improvement over the second one. You did put in effort to add a couple of new things to the game and by adding a few medals that were more challenging than the ones from the last game, though.

Artur-Felipe responds:

thank you

This was a short and funny random game. It's a nice little time waster. My problem with it, though, was how temperamental the medals were. It's like you had to do things in a certain order or no medals would unlock.

UltimoGames responds:

yes, you have to connect the power cord first. Thanks for the review!

I was confused at first on how the controls worked, but picked up on them pretty quickly. This wasn't a bad game, but it could've been better. The power ups could've lasted longer and more things could've been added to make the game more interesting or challenging. It's a pretty easy game and I had no problem getting all of the medals in like, 10-15 minutes. It's a little TOO easy, but I digress.

Artur-Felipe responds:

Thank you

This is definitely challenging and requires trial and error. The controls could be better. They're a bit too touchy and the bot slides too much. Also, a checkpoint once you reach the boss would be nice.

Definitely not bad for your first game, though.

Escileus responds:

Thank you. I agree that the controls are a bit sensitive. I like Super Mario sliding better than Mega Man non-sliding mechanics. (SPOILERS:) There is actually one check point in this game. But I will think about adding more check points if I make a sequel.

The medals that required a certain score to obtain were harder to get than I thought! You gotta make sure you don't burn a bunch of buildings that are linked together if the population percentage isn't very high. That'll end your game real quick.

This was unexpectedly a bit challenging and I liked it! Good job!

SilverwareGames responds:

Thanks so much, it took a bunch of tweaking to get the balance right.

I like this game. It's a nice 53xy3457 inspired quickdraw game, but wow, is the click detection terrible. I cannot make it past Luis. I can click right on the button and he still kills me. It's like you have to click on just the right spot on the button and it's ridiculous.

Either fix the button so it can actually register a click or like another reviewer suggested, make it so we can use spacebar to shoot.

Eduardo82 responds:

The game is beatable, also i use the default action script 2.0 click command on the shoot button. So i don't know if the problem is with the button. So, if you really want to, then i'll add the spacebar command.
Cheers!
